Confused about basic eReaders and tablets. Kobo makes it easy. Kobo eReades go by many names, BUT the tablet series are all called the Kobo Arc. I’ll go over the eReader models first, then the tablet models.

Kobo Arc models are tablets that can also function as eReaders, so if you want a tablet that can do more than read a book here where to start. The Kobo Arc with over 1 million pixels on 7″ 1280×800 HD display with 215 ppi, every word and image is crisp and clear. Zoom in on high-res images to see the finer details. This is a gorgeous display, but it’s not the paper like display of the eReaders models above – consider the Kobo Arc only if you want your device to do more than book reading.
